Jacob Lusk is a powerhouse vocalist and dynamic performer whose emotive voice and bold presence have earned him acclaim across the gospel, soul, and pop worlds. Born and raised in Compton, California, Lusk began singing at age four and by five was performing in church choirs. Music was in his blood—his late father, Gregory Lusk, was a respected music producer—and Jacob grew up immersed in the sounds of gospel and soul greats like Billie Holiday, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, and the Winans.
